CYBERSECURITY JOB HUNTING GUIDE
Lessons learned
Author: Stefan Waldvogel
You did job hunting? Remember the lessons.
You got your dream job, and now you are thrilled. The sadness of job hunting is over.
My advice is:
Write all negative things about your job hunting journey down and store them somewhere. In 5 or 10 years, you might have hiring power. If you read your own notes, you can improve your own hiring process. Some things do not change: If you open an entry-level job, you get hundreds of applications. You can handle them in a good way or in a bad way. One thing is the fact, you have one open position and the majority will not get it. As an employer with hiring power, do not forget the majority. One example: Write a good rejection letter.
The picture shows it.
A simple rejection letter might cost 50 cents, but it can change a lot.
