How to install Ubuntu with Virtual Machine Manager
Ubuntu is a mayor Linux distribution. In our lab, we will use it later to install DVWA (Damn Vulnerable Web Application) and other software.
This article will show you how to install Ubuntu with Virtual Network Manager.
Download the iso here:
ubuntu.com/download/desktop
The version does not matter, I use 20.04.2.0 LTS.
Start Virtual Network Manager and click "Create new machine"

The installation is straightforward.
After your reboot, do not install spy ware or additional software.
In my lab, i have two network cards and this causes some problems because the NIC is set to DHCP, but the network works with a static IT.
Open a Terminal and type:
ip a
You should see something like this:

Your lab might be look differently. I use static IPs to have an easier life later when I am exploiting these machines.
Under settings -> wired are the details for this NIC and I change it to:
